Music rendez – vous with French multi-Instrumentalists Jul & Co at Bed Supperclub A complete journey into sound.
Bangkok, June 2013 – Bed Supperclub accents their extraordinary concept of music performance with a unique dinner concert evening by French multi-instrumentalist duo “Jul & Co”, Friday June 21th 2013.
The main feature will be a unique live concert – an act combining live laptop feed with keyboards, trumpet, talk-box singing, flute playing and live drums. Composed like a complete journey into sound, the two musicians’ live soundtrack will transport the audience into their interpretations of rare funk grooves, rock classics, bossa-nova anthems and even Isarn tracks revisited by the sampling machine of Co.
Set to surprise the audience, the duo’s winning formula remains the same: start with an infectious groove that creeps from the laptop and gradually adding layers of live instruments throwing down samples that people should recognize and connect with but immediately re-shuffling it into their own composition. The reaction on the audiences are varies from a smile, a laugh or the urge to dance immediately.
Co has been previously paired with his other outfit “Brahms & Co” a regular duo act at Bed Supperclub since 2005. Ever since, Brahms & Co have been traveling around the world to perform at highly glamorous events such as Louis Vuitton shops openings or W hotels gigs.
For those who are hungry of new sounds and live performance, this is a great opportunity to see real talented musicians with an incredible repertoire of style perform in the seminal white room of Bed Supperclub that saw the likes of Billy Cobham, Kelis, Laurent Garnier and Claude Challe perform since 2002.
