SACICT เชิญชวนนักเรียนนักศึกษาต่อยอดภูมิปัญญาดั้งเดิมจากบรรพบุรุษ ใน “โครงการพัฒนาศิลปหัตกรรมร่วมกับเยาวชนและภาคการศึกษา” ส่งผลงานตั้งแต่วันนี้ถึง 30 มิถุนายน 2561 ศูนย์ส่งเสริมศิลปาชีพระหว่างประเทศ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ SACICT เชิญชวนนักเรียนนักศึกษาเข้าร่วม “โครงการพัฒนาศิลปหัตกรรมร่วมกับเยาวชนและภาคการศึกษา” เพื่อต่อยอดภูมิปัญญาดั้งเดิมจากบรรพบุรุษ ด้วยความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของคนรุ่นใหม่ สู่การสร้างนวัตกรรมใหม่ๆ ที่สอดรับกับประโยชน์ใช้สอยและวิถีชีวิตปัจจุบัน ภายใต้โครงการ “#CrafttheFuture” โดยมุ่งเน้นให้เกิดการต่อยอดความคิดสร้างสรรค์โดยเยาวชน/คนรุ่นใหม่ใน 2 กลุ่ม ได้แก่
1) ระดับการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน ที่มีความสนใจและอยากร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสืบสานงานศิลปหัถกรรมไทย ด้วย ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ภายใต้หัวข้อ “การส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้งานศิลปหัตถกรรมอยู่ในชีวิตประจำวัน
2) ระดับอุดมศึกษาที่ต้องการต่อยอดและพัฒนางานศิลปหัตถกรรมให้มีความร่วมสมัยและตอบสนองความต้องการ ของตลาดปัจจุบัน โดยกำหนด 2 หัวข้อ ได้แก่ Craft Tools & Materials โครงงานที่มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาเครื่องมือ เครื่องใช้สำหรับงานหัตถกรรม หรือวัสดุใหม่ๆ หรือวัตถุดิบทดแทน และ Craft & Community โครงการที่ผลักดัน หัตถกรรมในชุมชนให้เป็นกลไกหลักในการสร้างความร่วมมือ สู่ความกินดีอยู่ดีอย่างยั่งยืนของชุมชน
เปิดรับสมัครตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 – 30 มิถุนายน 2561 ประกาศผลผู้ผ่านคัดเลือกรอบแรก วันที่ 2 กรกฎาคม 2561 ผู้ผ่านการคัดเลือกรอบแรกนำเสนอต่อหน้าคณะกรรมการ พร้อมประกาศผลผู้ผ่านคัดเลือกรอบแรก วันที่ 6 กรกฎาคม 2561 ผู้ได้รับการคัดเลือกผลิตผลงาน วันที่ 9 กรกฎาคม 2561 ตัดสินผลงานรอบสุดท้าย ประกาศผล พร้อมมอบรางวัล วันที่ 15 สิงหาคม 2561
ทั้งนี้ ผู้ผ่านการคัดเลือกรอบแรกจะได้รับเงินสนับสนุนเพื่อใช้ในการผลิตผลงานเข้าประกวดรอบสุดท้าย ในระดับการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน 5,000 บาท จำนวน 10 รายและระดับอุดมศึกษา 10,000 บาท จำนวน 20 ราย ผู้ผ่านการคัดเลือกรอบสุดท้าย ระดับการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานจะได้รับเกียรติบัตรและรางวัลชนะเลิศ จำนวน 50,000 บาท และระดับอุดมศึกษา ในแต่ละหัวข้อจะได้รับเกียรติบัตรและรางวัลชนะเลิศเงินสด 100,000 บาท

SACICT invites young Thais to compete in creating handicrafts that combine local wisdom with fresh ideas, from now until June 30, 2018
The SUPPORT Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand (Public Organization) or SACICT is inviting students to join the “artistic development project with youth and education sector” to promote traditional wisdom of the ancestors. Organized as part of #CraftheFuture project, the activity aims to encourage the new generation to apply creativity and innovativeness in creating handicrafts that meet the current lifestyle while maintaining traditional charms.
The project divides the young applicants in two groups. The first one is made up of young people in the fundamental education level who are interested in carrying the torch of the old makers of Thai handicrafts while adding creativity. They will work under the theme of “promoting and supporting arts and crafts for daily life”.
The second group is those from higher education, with two themes for contest. The first theme is “Craft Tools & Materials” which focuses on the development of tools for handicrafts and new materials. The second theme is “Craft & Community”, which essentially should promote community handicraft making as a way to foster harmony, well-being and sustainability in the neighborhood.
Those interested can apply for the competitions from now (June 1) until June 30, 2018. The names of those passing the first round will be announced on July 2, 2018. They then will have to present their works/ideas before the selection committee and the result will be announced on July 6, 2018. The successful candidates who will complete the works will be notified on July 9, 2018. The final round will be wrapped up on August 15, 2018 when the award presentation will be held.
Those passing the first round will get financial support to produce their works and compete in the final round. There are 10 funds worth 5,000 baht each for the fundamental level applicants and 20 funds worth 10,000 baht each for the high education level. The winner in the fundamental education level will receive a certificate and a 50,000-baht prize while the winner in higher education level will receive a certificate and a 100,000 baht prize.
