แต่สุดท้ายแล้ว เราล้วนเกิดมาจากจุดเริ่มต้นเดียวกัน แล้วสิ่งใดคือความเฉพาะตัวกันแน่ ?
“IDENTITY?“ นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกจาก “พลวัฒน์ สามิดี” ศิลปินรุ่นใหม่จากรั้วมหาลัยศิลปกร กับภาพผลงานจิตรกรรมสีน้ำมันบนผ้าใบแบบเซอร์เรียลลิสผสมรวมกับท่างทางอริยาบทต่าง ๆ ในชีวิตประจำวันเล่าเรื่องราวเหล่านั้นเพื่อตั้งคำถามเเละเชิญชวนทุกคนเข้ามาค้นหาอัตลักษณ์และความเป็นตัวตน ผ่านผลงานจิตรกรรมสีน้ำมันที่ชวนสงสัย และกระตุ้นให้เกิดการตั้งคำถามถึงสิ่งที่เป็นความแน่แท้ของตัวเรา ด้วยภาพบุคคลมากมายที่มีความเหมือนทางบุคลิกภายนอก แต่แตกต่างด้วยท่าทาง อริยาบท และเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว
แม้ความเฉพาะตัวที่ต่างเชื่อกันว่าเป็นสิ่งเดียวที่ไม่เหมือนใครและไม่มีใครเหมือน แต่มนุษย์ทุกคนนั้น ยังดำรงชีวิตและมีวิถีแนวทางที่คล้ายกัน ศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์เล่มเดียวกัน หรือ DNA ที่ล้วนแต่มาจากพ่อและแม่ ในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้จึงขอชวนผู้ชมมาตรวจสอบ จับจ้อง สอดส่อง ค้นและหาคําตอบในมุมมองของแต่ละบุคคล
พลวัฒน์ สามิดี ศิลปินจากจากมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร คณะจิตรกรรมประติมากรรมและภาพพิมพ์ มีผลงานเป็นที่น่าจับตามองเป็นอย่างมาก ได้รับรางวัลต่าง ๆ มากมาย เช่น รางวัลดีเด่น สาขาศิลปะ 2 มิติ จากโครงการรางวัลยุวศิลปินไทย มูลนิธิ SCG ในปี 2019 และรางวัลดีเยี่ยมในปี 2021 อีกทั้งยังได้รับรางวัลระดับสากลจากต่างประเทศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นรางวัลเหรียญทอง จาก PIATRT NEAMT CREATIV FIRST EDITION (2016) ประเทศโรมาเนีย รางวัล BEST INDIVIDUAL- MONTMARTRE GOLDEN BRUSH 2017 , Chidren Art studio St. Cyril and Methodius ประเทศมาซิโดเนียเหนือ และรางวัลชนะเลิศ เทศกาลศิลปะนานาชาติ 20 17 ประเทศญี่ปุ่น พลวัฒน์ได้เข้าร่วมนิทรรศการกลุ่ม “THE EITHER” และ “ใจมันแพง” ณ พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะ เชียงใหม่ รวมถึงนิทรรศการ “แบบ (From)” ณ หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร และนิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกร่วมกับ Number1gallery ในนิทรรศการ “IDENTITY ?”\

Yet lastly we all were born from the same start and what is exactly an identity?
“IDENTITY”, the first solo exhibition of “Pollawat samidee”. A newly artist from Silpakorn University with his oil canvas painting in surrealist style, mixed with different daily life attitudes; expressing stories to question and influencing everyone to be searching your own identity and personality, through fascinated works of oil paintings and encourage to question to our true selves. With many portraits as similar as our appearances but different attitudes, manners and identities.
Even though an identity that we assume it as an individuality, unlike others and nobody can be alike; yet every of us still lives our lives and goes on a similar way, even study the same historical books or DNA from the parents. Therefore in this exhibition we would like you to regard, perceive, observe, search and find the answer in each of your point of view.
Pollawat samidee, an artist from Silpakorn University, faculty of painting, sculpture and printmaking, has an distinctive work. He has awarded in many stages, for instance an outstanding award in 2 dimensional art faculty from Youth Thai Artist Award, SCG foundation in 2019 and best award in 2021. He even received an international award, for example Gold medal award from PIATRT NEAMT CREATIV FIRST EDITION (2016) in Romania, BEST INDIVIDUAL- MONTMARTE GOLDEN BRUSH 2017, Children Art studio St. Cyril and Methodius in North Macedonia and winner award from International art festival 2017 in Japan. Pollawat had participated group exhibitions like “THE EITHER” and “Expensive heart” at Chiangmai Art Museum, including “Form” exhibition at Bangkok Art & Culture Centre. And lastly the first solo exhibition with Number 1 Gallery in the name of “IDENTITY?”
